About&Mission

Kevin Villiger

I am a former six-time Swiss junior national champion and men's national team player in Squash and have trained and coached beginners as well as other high-level players. I am also a martial arts enthusiast since childhood and have trained in Wing Chun Kung Fu, Judo, Shotokan Karate, Muay Thai, Boxing and MMA.

While fitness training used to be complementary to my Squash career and my martial arts training, it became a strong focus in the last few years after several back surgeries - and today, it is a passion. This background led me to dive into the intricacies of biomechanics, whereby I developed an expertise on how to link fitness training specifically to everyday physical activities, which is imperative for health benefits, and to movements in sports.

Along with my growing emphasis on my health and fitness, I started training friends and anyone who had an interest in fitness and martial arts privately, also advising them on how to approach stubborn pains holistically. Especially, I was able to help people with back pain through my own extensive experience with this issue, having dealt with it since the age of 16. This led me to pursue personal training professionally after getting my first diploma as a fitness trainer (SAFS) in 2023.

Mission

My mission and goals are to inspire beginners to integrate health and fitness training into their lives, help intermediates maximize the results of their workouts, and boost the performance of sports enthusiasts in their favorite sport. Also, it is a matter of heart to help people relieve their back pain due to my long personal history with this issue. Regarding both training and teaching, I believe in simplicity, efficiency, and a process-oriented mindset.
